Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Responsible for pricing strategies and solutions that drive revenue yield and the advancement of pricing infrastructure. Manage and grow revenue yield thru creation of pricing strategies as well as determining system solutions, recommendations of pricing proposals and negotiation strategies that incorporate competitive pricing practices and cross-functional implications. Responsible for working with internal departments to ensure that necessary parties understand the explanation of those strategies, and that strategies are implemented and communicated properly. Applies knowledge of revenue drivers, rates and fees for a wide variety of external client types as well as systems support pricing components. Manage a pipeline of pricing initiatives and requests under evaluation for review and approval ensuring requests are evaluated in a consistent and manner and audit, risk and governance requirements are met. Works closely with personnel across all functions, including Senior Management, in determines solutions that contribute to various strategy efforts, pricing systems enhancements and other initiatives designed to grow the business, sales volume and revenue.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Accountable for pricing strategy and communication of revenue, rates and fees for respective clients, markets or management. Drives revenue and manages yield for area of responsibility.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to solve business problems using pricing solutions, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues

  • Formulate mathematical analytics or visual representations of business initiatives/problems, related constants and variables, alternatives, or requirements

  • Create/enhance the procedures and business rules required to support stated policy, as well as the documentation and communication of policy both internally and externally

  • Stay abreast of competitive pricing trends and used for key initiative and strategies as well as analytics, client and product strategies and risk assessments

  • Responsible for annual plans, monthly forecasts and performance tracking for respective area


Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administrative and Management, Accounting and Marketing

  • 6+ years in Pricing, Financial Services, Transaction Processing, Management Consulting, or related

  • In lieu of degree, must have at least 10+ years in Pricing, Financial Services, Transaction Processing, Management Consulting, or related

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administrative and Management, Accounting and Marketing

  • 8+ years in Pricing, Financial Services, Transaction Processing, Management Consulting, or related

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $91,000.00 to $153,400.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
