We’re looking for a conceptual Middleweight Designer who can transform sharp strategic thinking into bold, beautiful ideas that demand attention.

Someone who thrives on big thinking, loves the craft of design, and brings energy, imagination, and ambition to every brief.

At 1HQ, you’ll work on some of the world’s most recognisable brands, collaborating with an inspiring team of designers, strategists, and creatives in our London studio.

This is an opportunity to shape brand worlds, push creative boundaries, and produce work that resonates globally.

What We’re Looking For - Our Ideal Candidate

• 3–5 years’ experience in branding and packaging design, with a strong portfolio of global brand work.
• A highly conceptual thinker with the ability to turn strategy into standout creative ideas.
• An exceptional eye for typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Experience in brand world creation, or a strong ambition to develop this skill under creative direction.
• Confidence working both independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to team culture and creative ambition.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with client services and the wider creative team to strengthen client relationships and ensure seamless project delivery.
• Contribute to creative projects both independently and as part of a team, inspiring those around you and helping to drive great design.
• Mentor and support junior designers, offering guidance, direction, and constructive feedback to elevate the work.
• Bring fresh thinking, curiosity and creative bravery to every brief.
