    JOB PURPOSE:

    We are searching for a dynamic well-organized professional with Enterprise project/program management expertise and hands-on experience leading customer engagements in a healthcare environment. 

    The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, strong business acumen, experience in the customer service/support field, core business process management competency, and the ability to work well within a team.

    Position Description: Vocera now a part of Stryker is looking for a Project Manager. This role will lead internal teams in successfully delivering system enhancement services post-Go-Live that ensure existing Vocera deployments are optimized to meet and exceed business and customer satisfaction metrics. The role reports directly to Manager, Client Systems.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Prioritize, schedule, facilitate, and lead the intake of projects to the Client Systems Engineers

  • Manage the assigned delivery resource to ensure the project meets the scope, schedule, and quality expectations
  • Plan, schedule, and track project milestones, critical paths, and deliverables using industry-standard tools
  • Ensure delivery process aligns with standards established through Client Systems methodologies
  • Proactively evaluate project risk by taking full responsibility for problem resolution, and ensuring, when necessary, that escalation occurs to keep projects on track
  • Facilitate project communications, including leading regular project status meetings with all partners, documenting meeting minutes, managing expectations and ongoing action items
  • Ensure that all projects are documented and archived promptly, as well as satisfy established project review and audit processes
  • Perform follow-up customer surveys to assess delivery quality and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct project close-out activities, including transitioning processes back to Sales, Professional Services, and Support; Elicit, compile, and share post-delivery lessons and feedback
  • Lead cross-functional project teams ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and smooth handoffs occur

  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a professional services organization ideally within a healthcare or software company.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Track record of leading service engagements in large enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to elicit partnership from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, sales, support, engineering, and internal project teams across multiple geographies and diverse cultures.

Travel Percentage: 10%
