WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Vice President in the Consumer & Retail Industry Group, you will play a key role in the Global team. You will support the origination and execution of M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Leveraged Finance mandates, with a primary focus on Latin America, including cross-border transactions with US and Europe.

You will be involved throughout the entire transaction lifecycle—from preparing marketing materials and conducting financial analysis to crafting and delivering presentations to clients.

This role offers a valuable opportunity to deepen your sector expertise in Consumer & Retail and grow into a senior banker.

We’re looking for someone like you to contribute across multiple fronts:

• Take direct responsibility for the coordination and execution of transactions, engaging with senior team members and client C-Level to explore strategic alternatives, originate new mandates, and manage live deal processes.
• Build and oversee detailed financial models to assess the impact of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and capital raises on earnings, cash flows, credit metrics, and ownership structures.
• Perform and guide company valuations using methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and comparable company analysis; prepare high-quality presentations.
• Participate in client meetings and interactions, gaining exposure to senior decision-makers at large corporates and financial sponsors.
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive approach to both origination and execution.

EXPERIENCE

• 6-7 years of mandatory experience in M&A  from a top-tier investment bank.

EDUCATION

• Graduate from top-tier business/engineering schools.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to details.
• Strong Excel, Powerpoint and financial modelling skills.
• Team worker, with ability to work in a truly international environment and with availability to travel.
• Strong emotional intelligence and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within global teams..
• Strong interest in the Consumer & Retail sectors and Emerging Markets.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
