Our Team

As Controlling Operations Hub GBU Service Line Delivery Head within our Finance transformation team, you'll implement and manage the ContOps organization for Sanofi, driving process standardization while ensuring seamless daily operations. You'll lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly closings, and financial planning activities, partnering with GBU Finance Business Partners and Budget Owners to deliver results in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

In this role, you will lead a multi-layered organization, managing managers and their respective teams across several Controlling service lines. You will establish clear governance, accountability, and performance standards, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution within a complex global matrix environment.

Main responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, high-quality, and compliant budgeting, forecasting, closing, and reporting services for sales, gross-to-net, country lead functions, and operating expenses
• Drive collaboration and teamwork across ContOps and Finance Business Partner teams, ensuring smooth stakeholder communication
• Lead global transformation projects aligned to the Controlling core model, including TM1, ERP, rolling forecast, and Insights factory implementations
• Ensure compliance with Internal Control and SOX standards, performing necessary controls and modeling ethical behavior
• Manage and develop a high-performing multi-layered teams, building career paths and fostering a culture of excellence
• Partner with country FBPs, service management teams, and stakeholders to monitor service delivery within Group calendar timelines
• Continuously challenge legacy processes, identify gaps, and recommend innovative ways of working

About you

Experience:

• 10+ years in finance or controlling service delivery with proven leadership experience
• Experience leading managers and multi-layered teams

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Strong change management capabilities to drive transition to future Controlling models
• Strategic thinking combined with operational execution and risk management expertise
• Proven ability to build partnerships across multiple business levels and influence key decisions
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage high volumes of detailed projects
• Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills across international teams and diverse stakeholders
• Adaptability and comfort working in complex matrix environments

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA and/or CPA
• Commercial Finance and Gross to Net expertise
• TM1 and SAP experience
