Job Description

Professional in Network & Cybersecurity (+2-year experience)

Location: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey.

You will report to: Team Lead Cybersecurity

Modality: Remote

Cyber Professional Services is part of Rockwell Automation's lifecycle services business, dedicated to delivering technical services, including system startup and troubleshooting across multiple applications and infrastructures. Our focus areas include Networking, Virtualization, and Cybersecurity within Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

You will be responsible for tasks related to network design, implementation, troubleshooting, virtualization, and cybersecurity. Your expertise in these technologies will help allow a Connected Enterprise by integrating the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) into our customers' facilities.

Collaborating with our team of Project Managers and Consultants, you will help achieve established goals, implementing work plans, and carrying out development tasks for specific solutions within assigned projects.

Activities:

  • 'Hands-on' experience supporting projects in industrial environments including process automation, discrete controls, and automated manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Support hardware installation, migration, and upgrades
  • Support and Configure Ethernet networks
  • Assemble servers in Rack
  • Work as part of a large diverse team, completing full project lifecycle implementations

You must have:

  • +2-year experience in at least one of the following disciplines; Network, Virtualization, Cybersecurity on Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • At least one of the following Certification: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE Routing and Switching/Wireless, VmWare, VCA, VCP, Nutanix, GICSP, CISSP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Crowdstrike, Dragos, Pen Testing, ISA/IEC 62443, NERC-CIP).
  • Travel requirements include flexibility to travel between 70% and 90%. Trips are located within the national territory, but may include international trips

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Industrial control system such us PLC, RTU, SCADA, DCS, and HMI
  • Knowledge of staging or deployment support in the following areas: Network Infrastructure (switches, routers), Virtualized Infrastructure (VMWare ESXi, Nutanix), Cybersecurity (Firewalls and iDMZ concepts)
  • Knowledge drawing and documentation software, such as Microsoft Visio®, with the ability to read network architecture diagrams
  • Working knowledge of differences and installation of copper (CAT5/5e, CAT6) and fiber media (OS1, OS2)
  • Review and write detailed documentation that may include customer requirements, system/network infrastructure specifications, observed issues, and remediation recommendations
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself and others
