Key Responsibilities:

  • Set crediting rates and conduct profitability analysis for new business
  • Streamline and enhance value reporting and rate-setting processes
  • Deliver financial and competitive insights to support product strategy and innovation
  • Prepare and present findings to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions

What You’ll Do

  • Establish crediting rates informed by market trends and competitive dynamics
  • Perform in-depth profitability analyses and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive process efficiency in rate setting and value reporting
  • Support forecasting and reporting of New Business Value

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years in actuarial roles within life insurance, with strong expertise in pricing and new business valuation
  • Proficiency in actuarial software (GGY AXIS preferred)
  • Familiarity with NBV reporting, IFRS17, ESR, and product knowledge 

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to independently lead pricing initiatives and validate cashflows
  • Collaborative mindset with attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Associateship or Fellowship of a major actuarial body preferred
