JLL point of contact for all operational requirements specific to Client including but not limited to hard/technical services, soft services and hospitality and experience services.   Manages a team of JLL facilities and hospitality professionals in Mumbai and Hyderabad.  Will oversee New Delhi but contact and support anticipated to be low/light touch. This role is responsible for: 

  • Inspire & Lead: Inspire and lead a diverse, cross-functional team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation that consistently exceeds expectations. Drive high impact initiatives that enhance the workplace experience, aligning with our unique culture and business objectives. 

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between the facilities team, employees, and other internal departments. Provide clear and timely updates on maintenance activities, project timelines, and service outages. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Hospitality Lead, F&B Lead, and other service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a cohesive workplace experience. 

  • Champion Change: Challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement. Navigate complex business changes with agility, identifying and implementing creative solutions that support vision and evolving needs. 

  • Industry Expertise: Leverage a strong background in entertainment or a similar fast-paced industry. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of business and operating nuances, acting as a trusted partner and advisor. 

  • Compelling Communication: Craft compelling narratives and effectively influence diverse stakeholders, from leaders to external vendors and partners. Your communication skills will be key to driving alignment and achieving strategic goals. 

  • Hospitality & Service: Bring a genuine passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Your expertise will be crucial in setting the standard for service excellence throughout the workplace. 

The Workplace Operations & Technical Manager collaborates closely with the India Workplace Operations & Hospitality Lead and cross-functional teams to align facilities strategies with business needs. Acts as the “number 2” facilities point of contact after the Workplace Operations & Technical Manager.  This role ensures seamless day-to-day office operations while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery across all technical and soft services. 

  • Technical Systems Management & Daily Operations - Take full ownership of all office technical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Conduct daily checks, perform hands-on preventative maintenance tasks, and ensure all systems run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a clean, hygienic, and spotless service environment. 

  • Preventative & Reactive Maintenance Program - Manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule through regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively. Respond urgently to technical issues reported through the facilities helpdesk, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, amenities, and building system defects to minimize workplace disruptions. 

  • Vendor Management - Act as the primary point of contact for JLL facilities vendors, contractors, and building management teams. Manage contracts, performance standards, and day-to-day coordination of maintenance, repairs, and inspections while ensuring all work meets required standards with complete documentation. 

  • Budget Management & Financial Oversight - Assist the India Workplace Operations & Hospitality Lead with budget preparation, tracking, and forecasting for all facilities-related expenses. Execute all operations within budget parameters while providing clear, transparent reporting and collaborating with the JLL finance team as needed. 

  • Inventory & Spares Management - Maintain a comprehensive inventory system for all critical spare parts and technical supplies. Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to support both preventative maintenance programs and reactive repair needs without operational delays. 

  • Safety & Compliance Assurance - Ensure all technical operations, maintenance activities, and vendor work comply with safety regulations and company standards. Maintain a safe, reliable workplace environment through proactive risk identification and immediate resolution of safety-related issues.
