Position Summary

This position will be working with a team that is responsible for the development and execution of network and mail pricing for CVS Health, a Fortune Company.

This Manager role will be responsible for the build and submission of pricing outputs for new and renewing PBM clients. Role scope is across all delivery systems and adjudication platforms in areas of but not limited to client pricing (retail and mail), claims adjudication (including functionality on all adjudication platforms), business rules and implementation processes, network structures and testing support across all of our Employer, Health Plan and Government business segments.

The Manager will work cross-functionally with both internal (Account Management, IT, Implementations, Benefits, CVS Health, and department leaders) and potentially external business partners (our clients) for implementations and maintenance of business support. Project management skills are key to meet timelines as well as revenue expectations. Being well organized and deadline focused with an ability to make decisions quickly, efficiently, and effectively will contribute to the overall success within the role. Competency in MS Excel is essential for ad-hoc data analysis and reporting. Intermediate to advanced technical skills are key to utilizing other department and company tools.

Advanced experience in the development of standard operating procedures and tools to improve team efficiency and turn-around-times are needed, with the ability to navigate within a Sarbanes-Oxley and SAS-70 environment, including expertise in managing internal and external audit inquiries and responses. Additional expertise in interpersonal, relationship and communications are also essential to resolve unique challenges encountered day to day to maintain client satisfaction.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operational experience within PBM or Health Care industry


Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years PBM or Health Care industry experience
  • Six Sigma belt certification
  • Knowledge of CVS Caremark network programs and procedures, including knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and claims adjudication proficiency
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Access database experience
  • Fundamental project management knowledge and/or demonstrable experience
  • Operations experience in a volume heavy environment with strict deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve common and shared goals across business teams.
  • Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite of tools.
  • Effective communication skills in both formal and informal written communications and speech at all levels of an organization


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
