We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Accounts Payable Payments Assistant to join our centralised finance support team at our Basildon office.

The role involves carrying out purchase ledger, payments and administrative support in the accounts department. If you’re well organised, can play close attention to detail and like being part of a team, this role could suit you perfectly.

Responsibilities:
Responsible to: Accounts Settlement Team Lead
Responsible for: The activities relating to the centralised settlements and Banking duties and to ensure excellent attention to detail in all tasks and objectives set by line manager.

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities:
• Prepare online bank payments – Faster, BACS, SEPA and international. Including
but not limited to daily IBA client payments and weekly introducer/commission
payments.
• Setting up and managing DD and SO payments for the Group.
• Investigating missing payments
• Monthly Credit card reconciliation (multiple).
