What You Will Achieve

 

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to moderately complex projects, managing time effectively to meet targets and develop short-term work plans.
  • Apply skills and discipline knowledge to support work within the team, making decisions to resolve moderately complex problems within guidelines and policies.
  • ·Work under general supervision, following established procedures and solving loosely defined problems within the team.
  • Periodically review your own work and potentially review the work of colleagues in a mentor role, using judgment to modify methods and techniques.
  • Maintain employee histories, administer compensation and benefits programs, and organize training sessions.
  • Plan manpower needs from internal and external sources, advising on contract negotiations, including discussions with union representatives.
  • Champion equal employment opportunity programs and assist in implementing employee relations strategies, collaborating with works councils and engaging in employee consultation processes.
  • Support People Managers in talent acquisition and recruitment efforts, both internally and externally.
  • Lead the annual insurance plan renewal exercise, including benefits reviews, verifying member details, and performing system testing.

 

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with 0+ years of experience or Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience or high School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated HR experience in a matrix team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software for office productivity, with a direct focus on mastering Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Experience with HR systems and databases
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act and MOM regulations, including CPF contributions, salary payment, leave entitlements, and termination protocols.
  • Advises stakeholders on employment practices in alignment with MOM guidelines and evolving statutory requirements.
  • Ensures HR policies and procedures are compliant with local labor laws and supports audits or investigations as needed.

  •   Relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • ·Proven experience in HR operations, particularly proficiency in Workday and other HR systems
  • Strong project management skills
  • Organizational diagnostic and analytical abilities
  • Analytical and creative skills to understand complex issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Experience in people management, coaching, and development
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
