What You Will Do:
Apply comprehensive knowledge to plan and lead ServiceNow administration activities, including user management and system configuration. Evaluate system performance results and recommend improvements affecting platform success. Function as a technical expert in ServiceNow operations while supervising administrative staff. Manage complex integrations and customization requirements with organizational policies compliance.

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and UI policies.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and apply fixes promptly.
  • Implement updates, patches, and upgrades in alignment with best practices.
  • Support integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.



What You Will Need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • A minimum of FIVE (5) years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience.
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
  • Knowledge of data imports, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Implementation Specialist for ITSM).
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
  • Experience with advanced modules (ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
  • Exposure to integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge of CMDB and asset management.
  • Familiarity with Agile or DevOps practices.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms and security compliance.

The annual salary range for this position is $92,000.00-$153,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
