Our Newest Opportunity: 

The primary purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst is to prepare financial-related analyses and research for company operations including duties related to budgeting/forecasting, organic growth calculations, month-end close, new business and other ad hoc analyses for corporate operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Executes a strategic financial integration by:
    • Performing complex reconciliations and analysis required for a successful transition in OneDigital systems and processes
    • Overseeing data management, including administration of CRM set-up to enable accurate and adequately precise revenue tracking
  • Develops subject matter expertise in specific strategic acquisition(s), specifically related to revenue recognition and compensation expenses
  • Works with accounting team to oversee accuracy of revenue and compensation expenses
  • Completes monthly reforecast and actual to plan variance analysis on assigned offices
  • Analyzes financial performance against key business metrics and documents pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against plans.
  • Supports company-wide sales leadership in the development and ongoing maintenance of robust sales and termination reporting tool
  • Supports specific business unit(s) leadership with visibility into sales and growth opportunities by preparing regular reports and reviewing with the business to modify
  • Interacts with Managing Principals and operational teams as a component of the planning and forecasting process
  • Identifies, investigates, and analyzes potential operational improvements. As appropriate, based on findings, makes proposals for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
  • Performs audits of and provide oversight on other finance departments as their efforts relate to a specific set of business units
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Previous exposure to revenue recognition principles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area;
  • Three to six years of experience in a similar financial position;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Experience with insurance brokerage operations, preferred but not required;
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Must be detail-oriented, accurate and have the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within a given time frame

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
