As a Senior System Software Validation Engineer specializing in Wireless Technologies (WiFi, WiFi-Aware, Bluetooth), Will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness, functionality, and performance of our wireless system software.
The role will encompass the validation and testing of software components, to guarantee its compliance with specifications and standards.
This role requires a meticulous approach to identify and address potential issues in the early stages of software development, contributing to the overall quality of the product, using state-of-the-art TFMs (tools, flows and methodologies) including generative AI techniques, and leveraging big-data analysis for comprehensive validation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans for wireless system software, based on system requirements and specifications, outlining the testing scope, strategies, methodologies, and success criteria.
• Test Execution: Perform thorough validation of system software through various testing techniques, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and integration testing.
• Defect Identification: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies, collaborating closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution, utilizing big-data TFMs.
• Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing procedures, incorporating generative AI approaches, to streamline the validation process and enhance overall test coverage
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance, and product managers, to understand software features and ensure comprehensive validation.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, procedures, and results, providing clear insights into the validation process.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of software development processes by providing feedback on testability, participating in code reviews, and suggesting enhancements to optimize product quality.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering
o 7+ years of experience in validation of SW / HW products.
o Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
o Proficiency in scripting or programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
o Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team environment.
o Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and meet project deadlines.
o Experience with communication and/or wireless systems
o Experience in generative AI frameworks and big-data analysis
