Territory Manager
To promote the continuation of our quality reputation and focused growth, we are currently hiring the best talent available for the position of Territory Manager.
What You Will Do:
Develop relationships with direct end users, commercial facilities, contractors, glaziers, hardware suppliers, and owners.
Review plans, specifications, contract documents, and job site conditions to formulate quotations for customers.
Take verbal requests from customers to create thoughtful, comprehensive quotes.
Identify, quote, close, and book incoming business.
Develop Submittals / Shop Drawings for review and approval.
Work closely with branch personnel to accurately configure products and assist with tentative dates for delivery & installation.
Assist Operations Team and Customers to quote and process project Change Orders and Scope of Work updates.
Assist Credit Department to secure terms and ensure timely payment after job completion.
Engage with customer satisfaction issues after the sale and installation.
Timely and Accurate Weekly Forecast Reports and participation in weekly conference calls.
Pre-sell our products to architects through planning stage documents.
Develop and Maintain relationships with GC’s and Architects providing specification assistance, new product presentations and AIA Credited Presentations.
Develop and Maintain relationships with end users, GC, and Glass Houses by providing specification assistance and new product presentations.
Exhibit and/or attend local trade shows.
Attend Job site meetings to complete takeoffs and review project prerequisites.
Project management on sold projects.
Work through project RFP’s/RFI’s/RFA’s.
Comb through Bid Sites to uncover opportunities within market.
Assist Contract Dept with contract execution.
Identify in Market Dealers.
What You Need to Succeed
Additional Preferred Qualifications and Skills
BA/BS degree in Business/Sales/Marketing, Engineering, or Construction Management.
Proven sales record. Self-starter, disciplined worker, Organized.
Computer literate. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in negotiation and in consultative sales with 30-180 day sales cycles.
High energy, ability to learn, and listen.
Ability to manage conflict and embrace change.
Passion for excellence and enjoy competition amongst other sales professionals.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Experience with CAD.
