Job Description

Holston Valley Surgery Center focuses on offering high-quality and service-oriented care to the communities in Kingsport, TN. Holston Valley Surgery Center provides clinicians with superior technology that allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of ENT, GI (Adults and Peds), GYN, GS, Ortho, Pain, Plastics, Podiatry, and Retina. With four ORs and three Treatment Rooms, patients can receive expectational and timely care.

Case Assignments

Orthopedic, cataracts, retinas, healthy peds, and GYN.

Shift

• 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
