OVERVIEW
The CAA London office is looking for a Senior HRIS / Workday Analyst to join our HR Operations team. This role is a maternity cover and is initially 12-months Fixed Term Contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Workday Payroll as well as configuration of Workday HCM modules. This role will provide technical and functional support during the UK Payroll module implementation process to HRIS and Global Workday team. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise HR/Payroll operations. Though the main focus for this role will be working towards UK payroll implementation, there is also a great opportunity to be involved in other business process enhancements for the EU and APAC.
Job duties to include but not limited to:
- Support International HR and HRIS teams with a focus on researching and resolving Workday configuration issues on existing modules.
- Perform audits, reconciliations, and validations to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
- Configure, test and document existing business processes within Workday that required change due to Payroll implementation (as guided by Implementation Partners).
- Build and generate reports and analytics to support payroll and HR operations.
- Partner with HRIS, Finance, and Tech teams to implement enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment of new features in the Workday Payroll module.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday Payroll-related inquiries.
- Provide guidance on troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Mass load historical data required for Payroll processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday configuration across various models (Core HCM, Benefits, Absence & Time Tracking, Security and ideally with experience to Workday Payroll)
- Hands-on experience with Workday reporting and dashboards.
- Knowledge of integration tools such as EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder).
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and experience with data analysis.
- Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretely handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including recruiting.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be organised and have excellent attention to detail.
- Previous exposure to project-related activities.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and engage others.
- Self-starter, who isn’t afraid to take ownership of work, enjoys challenges and is passionate about continuous process improvements that enhance CAA’s values and service proposition.
