What you'll do...

Position: Manager I, Technical Project Management

Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Develops project management practices by adhering to the principles of the Global eCommerce (GEC) project management methodologies (for example, Agile); evangelizing principles and business value of the methodologies throughout the organization; contributing to the development and evolution of the GEC methodologies; and building effective partnerships with the development managers, architects and product managers. Manages multiple, medium complex eCommerce projects (for example, software development, infrastructure) with external stakeholders (for example, third-party vendors, Information System Division (ISD), Store Innovations) by driving projects through the lifecycle phases to successful completion as defined in project's charter; serving as the project team lead (for example, scrum master); managing project budget; developing and maintaining a project schedule to track milestones; developing and executing plans for managing risk; providing updates and communicating needed changes to project budget; escalating project-related issues to management according to project guidelines; providing project status reports to stakeholders and management; managing project change control processes; coordinating production issue resolution; and interpreting data to help guide teams towards issue resolution and risk management. Manages off-shore development teams and third-party vendors (for example, software vendors, hardware vendors, photo vendors, content providers) by coordinating internal and vendor schedules; integrating teams and vendors into project strategy; communicating project status; ensuring delivery of proper functionality; and managing communications from vendors to internal stakeholders. Provides project-related support to project teams by developing project resource plans; determining business readiness for project implementation; managing individual project scope items or activities as part of larger scale projects; managing project budget; and partnering with project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in technical project management or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: managing multiple complex eCommerce projects using Cloud technologies such as google cloud platform (GCP) with engineering teams and external stakeholders; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through Agile (Scrum & Kanban), Traditional (Waterfall & Spiral) & Hybrid Project models; developing project management practices by adhering to project management methodologies (PMO) using PM application tools such as MS Project, Teams and SharePoint; managing project budget; developing and maintaining a project schedule to track milestones; developing and executing plans for managing risks and communication using Agile Management Tools such as JIRA and Confluence; partnering with Program Managers, Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to communicate delivery of scrum team products/working models and resolving issues impeding scrum team effectiveness; managing Data Analytics project change control processes; coordinating production issue resolution and interpreting data to help guide teams towards issue resolution using ITIL Framework, Velocity Charts, Control Charts and Burn-Down Metrics; managing cross-functional on-shore, off-shore agile development teams and third-party vendors by coordinating internal and vendor schedules; integrating teams and vendors into project strategy; integrating emerging cloud technolgies like GCP & DPaaS into strategic plans/roadmaps; designing and developing Business Intelligence Reports using Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI and Tableau; designing and implementing Datawarehouse/Data marts, ODS, OLTP & OLAP systems using Informatica, Tableau, PowerBI and Oracle; data analysis and reporting activities for daily analysis and audit support; engaging the entire team in internal and external auditing functions; and maintaining financial regulatory compliance and quickly resolve audit data request tickets.
