Rehabilitation Aide - Days - Cornell Campus

As a Rehabilitation Aide, take part in the continuum of care in all of our various settings from ICU, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation.  Assist in maintaining therapy areas by obtaining rehabilitation equipment and restocking linen and medical supplies.  Transport patients, equipment and supplies as required.  Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Physical and Occupational Therapists as you assist with the mobility of patients of all ages and diagnoses. 

Schedule:

Tuesday-Saturday or Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm; to be determined by management based on operational needs and staffing.

Preferred Criteria

• Acute care experience

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months hospital experience
• Knowledge of policies and procedures of Rehabilitation Medicine
