As a Market Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping pricing strategies and driving profitable growth for Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA). Your insights and analysis will empower marketing and leadership teams to make informed decisions that enhance our Pricing Development programs.
*This role requires 5 days per week in office Monday - Friday.
What You’ll Do
Deliver Strategic Financial Insights: Advise marketing management on performance metrics, segment pricing, business plans, and special projects to support strategic decision-making.
Lead Financial Modeling: Develop and analyze financial models for major business proposals across diverse market segments.
Optimize Pricing Structures: Collaborate with pricing teams to evaluate customer price structures and recommend improvements for profitability.
Guide Economic Analysis: Provide expertise on internal P&L drivers and external market trends (including IRI analysis) to inform pricing strategies.
Support Advanced Pricing Methodologies: Apply and interpret price modeling techniques (fixed/variable) and conversion margin methodologies (VARM – Value Above Raw Materials).
Manage High-Impact Projects: Execute assigned projects with precision, ensuring cross-functional accountability and timely delivery.
Organize Financial Data for Negotiations: Prepare and present financial data to support contract negotiations and account planning.
Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with R&D, Product Management, Operations, and Finance to compile and analyze data.
Drive Profitability: Serve as a key contributor in providing financial and operational context to enable sustainable business growth.

What We’re Looking For
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering preferred.
Minimum 2 years of analyst experience (manufacturing background preferred).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
A proactive, engaged mindset and commitment to growing as part of a high-performing Amcor team.
Preferred:
Experience with SAP and Power BI preferred.
