Job Description Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the end-to-end recruitment strategy in Malaysia. This position involves designing and delivering comprehensive talent acquisition initiatives, ranging from market research and candidate sourcing to conducting screenings and extending job offers. You will also manage all operational and administrative tasks associated with the recruitment process. This role requires a deep understanding of professional disciplines and may involve supporting specialized roles with technical expertise within a broad area of focus.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Individual contributor focused exclusively on Malaysia geography.
  • Develop and implement diversity strategies to attract high-quality passive candidates.
  • Deliver exceptional recruiting experiences for both People Leaders and candidates.
  • Gather and provide Talent Mapping and Market Data Insights for critical mandates.
  • Collaborate with HR People Partners and stakeholders to define and communicate recruiting strategies based on the specific opportunity and business needs.
  • Ensure a consistent, world-class candidate experience to enhance the GE Vernova Brand.
  • Emphasize quality of hire through capability assessments and talent mapping.
  • Build candidate pools via strategic networking, referrals, events, and internal influences.
  • Use market data insights to influence client groups and support business growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in end to end Talent Acquisition process across multiple functions in Malaysia
  • Prior experience in multinational companies within engineering, energy or technical industries is essential
  • Bachelors/Master's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Proven ability to influence and advise Senior Stakeholders on Talent Acquisition best practices.
  • Experience in market mapping and understanding of the Malaysia talent landscape.
  • Strong project management skills for managing Talent Acquisition programs.

  • Practical experience with ATS and CRM systems.
