Job Description:

Configuration Manager

Role description

  • In the field of turnkey project entails the identification, traceability, preservation of consistency and integrity of configuration information in all phases of the project/product life cycle.
  • Ensure that all active players of a project work against the same up-to-date reference basis of information, and any change to this reference basis of information is authorized, made available, and flagged to those who use it.

Essential Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Requirements Development & Management process.
  • Basic knowledge of Interface Management process.
  • Basic knowledge of verification and validation processes
  • Basic knowledge of commissioning process
  • Ability to write technical documents

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Transportation System Operation and Maintenance principles.
  • Knowledge of Power, Telecom and SCADA Architectures and functions.
  • Knowledge of Metro and Railway System performances and signalling principles.
  • Knowledge of technical solutions for wayside, on board and centre for metro systems.
  • Knowledge of Main Infrastructure Interfaces.
  • Knowledge of Rolling Stock Interface design.

Qualifications

  • Higher level educational qualification, within an engineering degree
  • 0/3 years experience in Rail E&M Turnkey projects
  • Knowledge of English Language: Fluent
    • TOEIC score 800
    • European Framework for Language B1
