As a Software Engineer III (Back-End), you'll be responsible for translating requirements into effective solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing valuable insights to drive innovation. You will lead small project teams of engineers who will rely on you as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert. Your role will involve analyzing large datasets to optimize processes and delivery protocols, while also acting as a trusted guide for efficiencies and best practices. As a member of our team, you will help shape best-in-class methodologies that will transform business operations and impact industry standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Technological Solutions: Develop advanced technological solutions that have a large-scale impact and enhance the end-user experience.

  • Opportunity Identification: Recognize areas of opportunity, develop solution designs, and provide guidance for system and process improvements.
  • Requirement Translation: Effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions and project goals, working with agility from start to finish.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and develop solutions that redefine a "best-in-class" customer experience.
  • Team Encouragement: Foster collaboration within the project teams you oversee, motivating them to achieve insight-driven outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in backend software development and related technologies.
  • Programming Expertise: In-depth experience in object-oriented programming with a strong understanding of Java8 and related frameworks, including lifecycles, multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning.
  • System Design and Architecture: Experience in system design discussions and proficiency in app architecture using design patterns such as MVVM, along with expertise in developing high-availability and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of Java8+, SpringBoot, design patterns, messaging architectures like Kafka, and API development.
  • Microservices: Strong experience with RESTful microservices. Experience with GQL is a plus.
  • Databases: Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, Cosmos, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
  • Container Technologies: Skilled in container technologies such as Docker on Kubernetes.
  • API Development: Expertise in designing, developing, and managing APIs.
  • DevOps: Experience in DevOps practices, including building automated CICD processes.
  • Testability: A focus on building products with a strong emphasis on testability and a passion for comprehensive test coverage.
  • Development Practices: A disciplined approach to development, including code review, testing, documentation, and maintaining strong code structure in a team environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: A drive to continually improve, learn new skills, and integrate the latest features.
  • Cloud Architecture: Experience with cloud architecture, especially in Azure, is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a problem-solving mindset.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
