Job Summary :
As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.
What you will be doing:
Conduct data analysis and interpretation of trends, patterns, and insights to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and experience enhancement.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing data from various sources, utilizing data visualization, and reporting tools, and deriving insights and recommendations that support business decision-making and improvement.
Discuss and elaborate on requirements with FIS Internal Business Users and Stakeholders to effectively communicate, ask the right questions, and capture their needs and expectations.
Facilitates and leads workshops to expand requirements and provide solutions. The ability to design and conduct interactive sessions with stakeholders, elicit feedback, and present possible solutions that address their pain points and goals is essential.
As a Business Systems Analyst Specialist, the role involves being at the heart of projects, collaborating with various teams and roles across the organization, including Product Owners, Architects, and Developers within the Technology team.
The ability to understand and align with different functions will be key to the success of the projects.
Investigate FIS Internal Business User activities, playing a key role by testing systems and providing competitive solutions.
Conduct research and analysis, test the systems' functionality and usability, and propose feasible, cost-effective, and value-adding solutions.
Enable user-centric design through continuous engagement with FIS Internal Business Users.
The ability to empathize with the FIS Internal Business Users, understand their needs and preferences, and involve them in the design and validation process is crucial to our success.
Supports the Transformation Lead and the FIS Internal Business Users in solving design and implementation challenges.
Assists the Transformation Lead in defining the product vision and roadmap, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the business objectives and expectations.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, solution architecture, third-party vendors, data, and infrastructure teams to document technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Ensures scalability, security, and regulatory compliance such as consumer duty. Works with various technical teams, understands the architecture and data flows, documents the technical solutions and business rules, and ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Create comprehensive business requirements documents, functional specifications, and use cases to guide development and testing activities.
This will involve producing clear and detailed documentation that captures the business needs, and functional and non-functional requirements and includes use cases and scenarios that illustrate the expected behavior and outcomes of the solutions.
Builds strong relationships with business stakeholders and vendor partners, ensuring effective communication, managing expectations, and resolving any conflicts or issues during the project lifecycle.
Is responsible for establishing trust and rapport with the stakeholders and the vendors, communicating proactively and transparently, managing the expectations and the scope, and resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Develop innovative solutions and recommend process changes, system enhancements, or other initiatives to address identified issues and achieve business objectives.
The candidate should be able to think creatively and critically, identify and evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend the best course of action that solves the problems and adds value to the business.
Support testing efforts by defining test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, and verifying that implemented solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
You will be able to define the test scenarios and the acceptance criteria, coordinate the testing activities with the testers and the developers, and verify that the implemented solutions meet the business requirements and the quality standards.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices related to business analysis.
Monitor and evaluate the solutions' performance and outcomes, solicit feedback and lessons learned, and identify opportunities for improvement in these areas.
What you will bring :
Agile Principles, Methodology and Practices.
You have a solid understanding and experience in applying agile principles, methodology, and practices, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver iterative, incremental, and customer-focused solutions.
Four (4) years of systems and business analysis experience, requires a proven track record of performing systems and business analysis, such as eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing requirements, designing and modelling processes, and documenting and communicating solutions.
Demonstrable experience gathering and analyzing technical and non-technical information, documenting processes and solutions to solve problems or meet business/systems outcomes.
Solid experience gathering and analyzing technical and non-technical information, such as data, documents, interviews, observations, surveys, or workshops.
Demonstrable experience in documenting processes and solutions using tools in the Microsoft 0365 environment.
Previous experience in handling large projects related to building and delivering innovative and robust solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents)
Experience in AI implementations, preferably with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-driven tools that can accelerate and enhance development.
Experience in developing and integrating conversational agents using Microsoft Bot Framework and customizing them to suit various scenarios and intents.
Previous exposure to large projects using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks to create, train, and deploy machine learning models and apply them to various data sources and types.
Familiarity with Microsoft AI principles, responsible AI practices, and how to implement them in solutions.
