Join RAC Insurance as a Supplier Relationship Specialist and play a pivotal role in optimising our supply chain to deliver exceptional service to our members. 

 

As a Supplier Relationship Specialist, you’ll work closely with key service providers to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness within our Claims business. You will support contract management, analyse supplier performance, and foster strong partnerships that align with RAC’s commitment to delivering outstanding member experiences. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain strategic and operational relationships with suppliers to foster performance improvements and cost savings. 

  • Ensure high-standard contract management practices and governance in line with the Claims Supply Chain Contract Management Handbook. 

  • Provide advice on contract administration and maintain contractual documentation. 

  • Analyse data and report on supplier performance to recommend improvements. 

  • Lead change processes for onboarding/offboarding suppliers in alignment with the Insurance Procurement Framework. 

  • Support compliance and efficiency initiatives to drive supplier performance improvements. 

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 

  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities. 

  • Knowledge of procurement, contract management, and/or commercial law. 

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make sound commercial decisions. 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent business experience (desirable). 

  • Progress towards ANZIIF-endorsed qualifications in loss adjusting or insurance (desirable).
