Overview

This role is for a Structural Engineering Intern within the Building Structures Practice of Global Technology Center, primarily facing Canada region. The candiate supports the design, analysis, and evaluation of building and infrastructure projects under the supervision of experienced structural engineers. This role provides hands‑on exposure to engineering principles, real‑world construction practices, and industry software tools.

Your Role

• Perform tasks assigned independently with minimum guidance from the seniors in the discipline.
• Develop design calculations and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Able to develop details/sketches and provide details to CAD technicians.
• Shall ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned tasks within the discipline.
• Responsible for compliance with AtkinsRealis QA/QC procedures and implementation of procedures.
• Keep abreast of latest trends and technologies.

About you

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from a reputed College.
• Have sound understanding of finite element analysis and shall have working knowledge in at least one of the software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, AUTOCAD etc.
