This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.

The Sr. Associate II, Vision Care Field Sales (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for achieving sales targets and promoting products to medical practitioners and allied health professionals. You will develop business plans, implement customer events, and support key accounts while maintaining product knowledge and mapping collaborators. Specifics include:

• Develop, integrate, and provide account or brand-specific forecasts for internal sales and operations planning, assisting in improving demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers
• Maintain and manage product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand, analyzing internal demand stream information and categorizing according to demand patterns
• Align sales and marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems
• Promote, sell, and support Alcon Vision Care products such as contact lenses, Contact Lens Care, and products for Dry Eye relief, executing business plans and driving achievement of sales targets for assigned customers
• Develop and apply understanding of customer organizations and networks, adapting and optimizing approach and communication style during sales interactions to respond appropriately to customer needs
• Ensure Alcon products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers
• Develop effective professional business relationships with customers, establishing and developing long-term relationships with key customers
• Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives
• Use detailed knowledge of competitor products’ features and benefits during sales interactions to improve sales of Alcon products
• Provide Alcon stakeholders and other colleagues with insight and feedback gained from customer interactions
• Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans while also preparing and negotiating contracts
• Work effectively with other Alcon stakeholders and resources in Sales and across other functions (e.g., Key Account Management, Marketing) to achieve sales targets
• Work within Integrity and Compliance policies and all company policies
• Actively participate in all team meetings, conference calls, trainings, and sales meetings
• Present a positive attitude and leadership skills to foster a high-performing culture
• Consult clients on staff commercial training and allocate resources effectively (e.g., sampling, marketing material)
• Seek ways to improve patient experience and satisfaction (e.g., direct contact lens delivery)
