Job Description:

Job Summary:

This position supports the deployment, installation, and maintenance of UPS-approved technology across internal and external sites. The incumbent ensures reliable IT operations by managing hardware, software, and infrastructure setups. They provide technical support, coordinate vendor activities, and help maintain compliance with UPS standards.

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent 

Workdays: Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)    

Shift Hours:  5:00 PM – 1:30 AM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week). Weekend coverage may be required. 

Shift Duration: 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time).   

Work Location: 5960 FERGUSON RD RICHMOND, BC V7B 1M6 Canada 

Hourly Wage: 21,37

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and support UPS-approved software, hardware, and IT infrastructure

  • Perform installations, upgrades, and configurations across various locations (UPS facilities, vendor sites, and customer locations)

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for internal and external users

  • Manage and maintain networks, landlines, mobile devices, and PBX systems

  • Support HDVC and MOVI conference systems and coordinate vendor visits as needed

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure IT environment compliance

  • Provide training and technical guidance to customers and team members

  • Participate in disaster recovery procedures and IT projects

Qualifications / Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate

  • CCENT Cisco Network Certification
