The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
  As a Global HR Procurement Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:          

  • Develop and implement global strategy for core sub-categories
  • Establish relationship at top level with preferred suppliers
  • Create governance process with key global stakeholders
  • Establish performance process with key global stakeholders and preferred suppliers
  • Effective communications to all levels including SVP/VP level
  • Global supplier performance management
  • Manage global sub-categories
  • Lateral Influence, change management and PMO capabilities
  • Analize market trends and conduct cost benefit analysis to drive procurement strategies and optimized spending

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Seven (7) years of experience in procurement of Professional Services and/or HR procurement in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Seven (7) years in indirect Sourcing/Procurement Services experience.
  • Seven (7) years' experience in Professional services and specialized sub-categories CWS (Contingent Worker Services), HR Benefits, BPOs (Business Process Outsourcing) and other HR services
  • Seven (7) years' experience managing and negotiating with MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and VMS (Vendor Management Systems)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in Business and/or Supply Chain from an accredited institution
  • Skills include… [Effective Communications Skills, Accountability, Negotiations skills, Program Management Skills (PMO)
  • Senior understanding of global regulations in HR Procurement categories

Work location:

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to St Paul, 3M Center)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $207,348 - $253,425, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
