🐾 Seeking Experienced Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Dutchess County Animal Hospital 🐾
Location: Dutchess County Animal Hospital – Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Full-Time
Requirement: Saturdays are required
Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience, credentials, and skillset)

• Assist veterinarians with patient exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia and vital signs during procedures
• Provide attentive nursing care for hospitalized patients, including monitoring, medication administration, and treatments
• Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and support fluid therapy
• Operate diagnostic equipment including digital radiography and in-house lab analyzers
• Support dental procedures including anesthesia monitoring and dental radiography
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• Collaborate with a team that values your skills, input, and growth
• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in New York
• Strong clinical and technical skills including anesthesia monitoring and patient care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for patient care and continuous learning
Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour based on experience
