Circle K Energy Trading SA is part of the Global Fuels organization and is responsible for fuel supply and trading activities across Europe. Our mission is to ensure efficient, compliant, and optimized trading operations in a rapidly evolving energy market.

Trade Management and Support function plays an important role in ensuring data compliance and accuracy within the ETRM system, while coordinating closely with market traders, supply operations, finance, and other stakeholders to support smooth and efficient trading processes. This role is essential for maintaining operational excellence and supporting the CKETS Trading Team in Geneva from the Circle K Business Center in Riga.

Consultant Trade Management and Support

Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Circle K Business Centre, Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed trade capture and validation within the ETRM system, ensuring accurate pricing formula modeling, fuel quotations, and alignment with commercial terms.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and requirements, validating trade documentation and system setups to mitigate operational and financial risk.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders-traders, supply operations, finance, and other teams-to resolve discrepancies between commercial contracts and ETRM deal setups, ensuring accurate alignment and a clear understanding of the commercial logic behind each transaction.

• Manage and validate trade capture promptly after the commercial transaction has been agreed, overseeing the process through final execution, settlement, and payment, while ensuring end-to-end compliance and accuracy.

• Leverage ETRM expertise and a deep understanding of trading strategies to contribute to process improvements, as well as digitalization and simplification initiatives within the function.

Main requirements:

• Degree in Masterdata, Business, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.

• Strong analytical capability to deep-dive into pricing formulas and diverse market conditions, enabling accurate country-level setups.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, support diverse stakeholders simultaneously, and adapt effectively to a dynamic trading environment

• Proficient in Excel and Power BI, with strong comfort working with systems and managing large data tables.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams.

• Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).

• Experience with ETRM, Masterdata, ERP, or accounting could be an advantage.
