Job Summary:
The IP Routing & Integration Engineer will perform advanced network integration services in support of carrier-grade service routers in customer networks. Responsibilities include creating Methods of Procedure (MOP), preparing services, executing MOPs, performing software upgrades, and conducting testing and commissioning. The role also includes providing troubleshooting support as required during deployment activities.

Required Product and Technology Knowledge
•     Understanding of IP/MPLS Routing Technology
•     Understanding of New Data Center Architecture (Spine/Leaf)
•     Understanding of Mobile Front/Backhaul deployment
•     Understanding of End-to-End BNG deployment
•     Carrier-grade service routers (vendor-neutral)
•     Cisco Routers
•     Juniper Routers
•     Familiarity with Network Services Platform (NSP)
•     Familiarity with Virtualized Service Router (VSR)

Major Technical Tasks
•     Create configuration scripts and service requests
•     Participate in project planning, status calls, and requirement gathering
•     Perform pre-checks and post-checks (dump existing configuration, create rollback points)
•     Establish management sessions and GUIs for network devices

•     Determine configuration requirements from high-level and low-level designs
•     Build and validate router configurations based on planning outputs
•     Review low-level designs and Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
•     Conduct configuration testing and software release deployment
•     Install, provision, and turn up ports during maintenance windows
•     Execute scripts and verify configurations across multiple routers
•     Report completion of maintenance activities and document results
