Responsibilities:
Manage R&D and design improvements initiatives within the 2GW HVDC portfolio, including alignment of budget, planning and execution
Manage the interfaces between the project engineering team vs customer and partner engineering teams within the corresponding R&D and design improvement activities
Act as the internal focal point for R&D activities between different functions (engineering, project management, finance)
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across region and portfolio. Resolving issues and conflicting requirements in a timely manner.
Provide inputs and solutions that allow for minimal third-party impact, whilst maintaining effective project delivery.
Produce and maintain appropriate, standardized documents, and regular reporting to the senior management and other stakeholders reflecting key issues, resolutions, and performance with regards to R&D activities status.
Ensure a collaborative approach across the team to facilitate the planning and delivery of interface works, ensuring all issues are clearly understood by teams and addressed, and appropriately.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s, Master’s or another relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Project managemenet or similar discipline.
Strong working experience with big and complex projects, preferably in oil & gas, grid, energy or offshore (wind).
Experience in R&D projects is a plus
Fluency in English; excellent communication & cooperation skills.
German is a plus
PMP Certification or equivalent is a plus.
Ability to deep-dive into complex analytical issues; mastery of MS Office tools (e.g., Excel)
Successful experience in a matrix and international environment.
