We're looking for a Digital Designer to join our team in London as part of our Design function.

Your Role: You will work on creative projects from brief to delivery for all our products, awards and events. A creative all-rounder, they will deliver high quality creative across a wide range of executions and touchpoints, and be a brand guardian for the globally known LIONS brand and our portfolio, which includes LIONS Learning, The Work, Cannes Lions and more.

You will display confidence and enthusiasm working within an international organisation and supporting teams across the business. They will handle a wide variety of briefs and their direct contribution includes, but is not limited to, production of high-quality digital content and communication materials, product and support documents, and events assets, that adhere to brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing branded collateral for a range of formats with a specific focus on digital executions and communications including email, social and web. Bringing a fresh eye and enthusiasm to each creative project.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop website content and structure ideas that create a clear user experience, whilst supporting marketing targets.
  • Reimagine existing and future brand guidelines for a digital landscape.
  • Encourage and implement innovative ideas and approaches to keep the brand's creative output fresh and competitive using a digital-first approach.
  • Ensure the consistency and responsiveness of content shared across multiple platforms, i.e desktop websites vs. mobile app.
  • Realising the ideas of a brief by designing and testing work to make sure each element is completed in full, on time, and in line with company/brand standards as well as brainstorming new concepts through cross functional working sessions.
  • Ability to work independently but also collaborate with Art Directors and support Junior Designers, while continually sharing progress with stakeholders on the Marketing team.
  • Produce creative executions for a variety of projects across marketing activities including, email, social media assets, web assets, marketing and sales supporting collateral and advertisements.
  • This role involves close collaboration with all current and future members of the LIONS Marketing team, including copywriters, digital producers and other designers, as well as marketing managers and colleagues in other departments.
  • Ability to thrive in an exciting and busy environment, working for an iconic brand. Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative qualities. Supports and collaborates with the team around them. Confidence to take ownership of BAU digital responsibilities with the guidance of the Associate Art Director and Creative Director.

Your Experience

  • Conceptual design thinking and a high level of consistency.
  • You have versatile creative abilities to deliver brand consistency across many digital touch points including an understanding of web best practices, email marketing and social media design trends.
  • The experience to collaborate with Senior Designers and the wider Creative Team in everyday tasks.
  • The experience to support Junior Designers with peer-to-peer feedback on BAU tasks.
  • Self-driven, proactive and keen to learn new skills.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Confidently navigate CMS (Content Management System) software for content population across event and intelligence sites.
  • Demonstrate an ability to positively interact with both creative and marketing teams.
  • A keen interest in current industry trends & techniques.
  • Excellent organisational skills required; must be able to handle multiple projects and produce a high volume of quality work within tight deadlines via cross functional workflow streams and project management tools.
  • Self-motivated, a team player, comfortable with following directions and receiving feedback on their work as required.
  • Experience as a digital creative in the industry. Relevant experience working in a team based environment is ideal
