About you and this role

Are you a driven and curious student eager to explore the world of internal auditing? Join Dow's Corporate Audit Department within our Finance organization and embark on an exciting journey where you will play a crucial role in audit projects. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working closely with seasoned professionals, participating in internal audits, and contributing to improvement projects. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Dow and its various functions, acquiring knowledge on internal controls, risk management, and internal audit concepts with a best practice approach. This is your chance to make a significant impact and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the audit team to learn how to conduct an end-to-end audit
  • Review audit workpapers to gain knowledge
  • Assist audit staff with their work or execute assigned tasks such as walkthroughs and sample testing during audits
  • Conduct data analysis to support audit activities
  • Become familiar with a globally recognized auditing software program

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (MS Teams, Excel, and Word)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Available to start between February and April 2025 for a period of 5-6 months (exact dates to be discussed)
