Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Master Data Technologist to play a key role in safeguarding business continuity at our Ballina plant. This role is central to coordinating all Business Continuity Plan (BCP) activities, ensuring critical information, systems, and processes are in place to keep operations running smoothly. You will manage sensitive formula-related data and work closely with Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, Labelling, Safety Data Sheets, and material attributes as they relate to business continuity. A core focus of the role is to ensure all BCP master data—including Bills of Material and Master Recipes—are accurate, up to date, and readily available to support operational needs. This position reports to the EMEA Master Data Manager and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment while playing a vital role in protecting product supply and business resilience.

What you will do for us:

  • Definition and coordination of all Business Continuity related activities to back up required CPS plants.
  • Management of confidential formula related information.
  • Creation of Master Data including Bill of Material and Master Recipe for BCP and back up function for NPI processes also to support workload balancing.
  • Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA): ensure compliance with country specific legal and religious requirements.
  • Technical assessment of products and ingredients.
  • Develop, maintain & prepare reports on the status of the plants Business Continuity Program.
  • Technical expert for all BCP MD activities ensuring the proper processes, policies and procedures are in place to maintain compliance to requirements. 
  • Collaboration with Primary Supply Locations and other stakeholders e.g., QSE, BCP Coordinator, SM, CRM and SRA.
  • Apply Operational Excellence tools and techniques to continuously improve our processes and eliminate waste.

Skill Requirements/Competencies:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, with the ability for detailed assessment of data.
  • High level of PC literacy and exposure to major computer systems.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience in Technical Master Data Management, Supply Chain, or Management of Confidential Information.

Educational/Professional Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in a high-volume production facility with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in technical Master Data Management.
  • Third Level Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline desirable.
