Job Description
Overall Objective:
¡ Ensure Accounting to Reporting requirements for AH Legal Entity are met in accordance with Indian and Group Reporting needs.
¡ Providing support to business stakeholders in terms of various operational matters, processes – accounting, reporting, taxation, fixed assets management.
¡ Establish strong partnership with Business Support Center (BSC) Organization for ensuring required operational support from and to Local Finance Teams.
¡ Establishing adequate and sound internal control system and ensure sustained execution of such controls.
¡ Ensuring all regulatory/statutory requirements relating to AH Legal Entity are met.
Key Responsibilities
¡ Accounting to Reporting - Timely monthly closing in line with USGAAP. Liaison with Regional office and with Business Support Centers and global stakeholders to ensure required support to and from Local Finance Teams. Ensure implementation of group policies and procedures. Preparation of accruals, prepaid expenses and BS reconciliations in blackline. Review and analysis of monthly P&L and BS
¡ Fixed Assets – Establish and maintain Fixed Assets Management process. Work closely with business stakeholders for ensuring correct and timely assets capitalization, adequate accounting controls and procedures on CAPEX.
¡ Financial Audits – Prepare financial statements in accordance with IND AS requirements. Work closely with statutory auditors to ensure timely audits and certification of AH legal entity in India. Responsible for activities related to preparation of schedules, overviews required for audit. Close co-ordination with all internal stakeholders, Finance Team, BSC to ensure all audit requirements are met.
¡ Internal Financial Controls Review– Ensure Companies Act requirements related Internal Financial Controls are met. Execute IFC review plan in close co-ordination with external auditors, internal stakeholders to ensure no adverse observations are noted in internal financial processes.
¡ Direct Taxation – Adhere to all required direct taxation and Transfer Pricing compliances – Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Tax Filings. Handle all tax litigations in close co-ordination with tax consultants, regulatory authorities to ensure all responses are met and refunds due to entity are achieved. Responsible for preparation of segmental P&L for Transfer Pricing study report.
¡ Business Support – Inform and educate internal stakeholders on taxation matters impacting business operations, Extend support in preparing and implementing required processes to ensure such tax requirements are met.
¡ Provide guidance and support to other functions of the organization in areas of selecting appropriate GL Accounts, Cost Centers, WHT requirements, GST tax codes. Coordinating between business stakeholders and AP team.

Education
¡ Chartered Accountant
Experience
¡ 6-7 years post-qualification experience in accounting, reporting and direct taxes
¡ Knowledge of Ind AS
¡ Well-versed with WHT requirements
¡ Good Microsoft Excel, Data Management Skills
¡ Experience in SAP STS, FICO modules
¡ Experience of working with Shared Service Centres – Added advantage
¡ GST knowledge would be added advantage
