As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Lead (m/f/d) -Strategic Growth Initiatives to support strategic initiatives and strengthen our project execution capabilities.

The Role

Xylem is executing a bold commercial transformation to achieve $3B in Water Infrastructure revenues by 2026—our 3x26 vision. We are seeking a dynamic, commercially focused leader to serve as the Project Manager for Strategic Growth Initiatives. This role will lead the planning and execution of high-impact growth programs, with a strong emphasis on sales acceleration, market expansion, and commercial enablement.

The scope of this role spans direct sales, channel partners, digital solutions, and aftermarket services, ensuring that all commercial pathways are aligned and optimized to deliver strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the 3x26 growth initiatives , from strategic planning through execution, ensuring alignment with corporate revenue targets.
  • Drive commercial impact by identifying and activating growth levers such as market development, channel optimization, sales enablement, and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee initiatives across direct sales, channel partners, digital solutions, and aftermarket services to ensure cohesive execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to ensure integrated execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Establish and manage program governance, reporting cadence, and executive-level communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and milestones, proactively addressing risks and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Champion a culture of agility, innovation, and performance across all workstreams and project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, with a strong emphasis on commercial initiatives and cross-functional leadership.
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-year strategic programs in a matrixed or global organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in product management, sales operations, go-to-market strategy, or commercial transformation.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced environments.
  • Understanding of sustainability and infrastructure markets is a plus.
