Main purpose
The HR Generalist supports the full employee lifecycle by delivering day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and people initiatives. The role acts as a trusted partner to employees and managers, ensuring consistent application of HR policies, compliance with local labour law, and alignment with global HR standards. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position, with possibility of extension/conversion to permanent based on business needs.
Key responsibilities
Administer Ergani platform
Coordinate with the relocation vendors for accommodation, visa and work permit applications and tax compliance
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of employment documentation
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with payroll data preparation and benefits administration in coordination with external providers
Respond to routine HR-related queries from employees and managers
Assist with maintaining compliance with Greek labor law and internal HR policies
Provide administrative and coordination support for local and global HR initiatives
Assist with HR reporting and data tracking
Support continuous improvement of HR processes and documentation
Required qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR (preferably in a multinational environment)
Bachelor’s or MSc in Human Resources
Basic knowledge of Greek labour law
Fluency in English and Greek
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with a HR system, in particular with Workday
Familiarity with the full cycle of people management activities (employee relations, employment law, compensation & benefits, performance management, payroll)
Experience supporting multiple departments or a large employee population

The HR Department supports a dynamic office of approximately 250 employees across 30 diverse departments, ranging from corporate functions to operational and technical teams. As part of a multinational organization, the HR function plays a critical role in aligning local HR practices with global policies, while ensuring full compliance with Greek labour legislation.
