As a Digital Product Manager within Capital Group’s North American Client Group, you will be responsible for leading a small, experienced team of hybrid digital product managers/web content authors, while guiding the team's prioritization and management of the product backlog.

Your work will span the delivery process, from identifying user needs to ensuring successful launch. This is a unique role, as you’ll have the opportunity to work in an integrated team that represents the end user, as well as our business unit partners and the development teams. You are an ideal candidate, given your extensive experience with enterprise web content management systems, and you are energized by the opportunity to take on a role that will serve both as a player and coach, actively contributing to the work while also guiding and mentoring the team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Team management and leadership; leading, mentoring, and managing team performance, including providing regular feedback, and supporting professional development.

  • Content authoring and delivery; leading the hands-on delivery of web content authoring and publishing via an enterprise content management system in support of Capital’s flagship thought leadership experience.

  • Product backlog management; working closely with senior manager, global stakeholders and functional partners to define and prioritize features and enhancements, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring ongoing management and optimization of team velocity and throughput.

  • Setting the strategy and vision; developing and communicating a clear vision and strategy for the digital product and marketing initiatives.

  • You have extensive experience (6 – 8 years minimum) in the development and launch of digital product/solution strategy, roadmap and execution. A significant percentage of your product experience includes enterprise CMS systems.

  • You have extensive experience with enterprise web content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager preferred) and have a demonstrated ability to leverage customer insights to drive product roadmap and design

  • You have an aptitude for collaborating with and talking to technical and creative partners, including IT, Design, Operations, etc., and have led project teams in the past.

  • You have mentored, training and directly managed sizeable teams in the past. You have been recognized for your communication and collaboration skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and you have led teams which delivered high-quality and high-impact results.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $131,596-$210,554

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
