RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Business Solutions / Operations leadership to define implementation plans or business cases for large or medium-sized strategic initiatives
• Lead small strategic initiatives with oversight from Business Solutions leadership
• Gather data from key stakeholders to develop execution plans to achieve performance goals and metrics
• Support Business Solutions leadership in defining Ops / Tech roadmap
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
• Support end users with reported system-related incidents
• Develop key BU relationships 
• Identify and recommend additional tech or process enhancements in support of continuous improvement

• Strong problem-solving and service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams is required
• Proficiency with Image Right, Policy Decisions Evolution and Policy Writer are a plus.
• Experience in the development of large scale commercial and specialty Underwriting Systems (DuckCreek, Guidewire, Unqork, UW Platforms, etc.)
• Intermediate experience with UW lifecycle and ability to translate that into user and system requirements
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle, Product Management and Agile/Scrum framework 

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Minimum 5 years’ prior experience in Insurance Operations, Underwriting, Business Planning, IT, or related / relevant role(s)

For individuals assigned or hired to work in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, NJ; New York State; and/or Washington State, the base salary range is listed below. This range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$75,000 - $100,000/year

• Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.  The above range may be modified in the future
