The NOAA Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH) at Colorado School of Mines is hiring for an hourly research support position.The research support role will be involved in project related research supporting the NOAA Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH), working with Mines faculty (Prof. Andy Wood) and external project team members. The researcher will conduct geospatial data processing and analysis for large Earth Science datasets (100s of gigabytes) using common coding languages (e.g., Python) on high performance computing (HPC) systems. The researcher will also prepare presentations for project meetings and possible science conference participation, contribute analyses and writing to publications, and preparing datasets for dissemination to the research community.

Hourly Rate
$30.00 per hour
