About the team:

FIS Risk Suite (FRS), our product, is a leading risk management platform used by the financial services industry around the world to model companies’ financial business. FRS SaaS is the new system with a single web interface and microservices run in docker containers on cloud. Even though our agile teams are already large, strong, and experienced, we are looking for more experienced front-end developers to strengthen Angular development and ensure the quality of our product will sustain in the new circumstances and environment. You will have strong support in understanding existing FRS products, great team-mates, and a pleasant work environment.

What you will be doing:

You will be part of a scrum team, which has a roadmap of creating a front end for FRS, based on a range of business requirements. Together with the team, you will own some products/features of the whole FRS application including code, code quality, test coverage, and release. As part of the team, you will be part of conversations with stakeholders, architects, and other teams to develop better solutions for our clients. As a front-end developer of the FRS application, you will be involved in the development and deployment of new user interface features, and innovation around UI enhancements. Our teams are organized on the feature level and the team’s responsibility is E2E development of features, which means that you may contribute to back-end functionalities as well in some cases. In our case, Angular is accompanied by a standard range of frameworks like NgRx, Angular Material, and more. For the UI we use an in-house FIS framework of components relying on Angular Material.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, informatics, or related.
• 5+ years as a software developer designing and developing web-based applications using Angular stack (Angular, TypeScript, NgRx, Angular Material).
• Strong understanding of JS, HTML, CSS, and REST API.
• Experience in working with relational databases, SQL language, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Fast learner, able to respect deadlines and work efficiently and independently within a team.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience in working with cloud providers, preferably AWS.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum, and with test-driven development.
• Experience in working with SaaS solutions.
• Experience in back-end development, C#, . NET.
• Experience in working with non-relational databases.
