Financial Perspective
Strategic Planning: Support the development and implementation of strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency throughout the value chain, including the adoption of cleaner technologies and renewable energy solutions.

Project Management: Lead and manage climate-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Coordinate cross functional teams and external partners to achieve climate goals and objectives effectively.
People Management
Employee Education and Training: Provide training and educational resources to employees at all levels to increase awareness of climate change issues, promote sustainable practices, and foster a culture of environmental stewardship.
Professional Qualification and Certifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CEM, LEED AP) are a plus.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in climate change mitigation, sustainability management, or related fields, preferably within the petrochemical or energy industry.
Knowledge and skills:
Strong understanding of climate science, greenhouse gas accounting methodologies, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Paris Agreement, IPCC reports, TCDF, GHG Protocol).
Familiar with carbon accounting, emissions trading and carbon offset mechanisms.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful climate change strategies, including emission reduction initiatives, renewable energy projects, and sustainability reporting.
Excellent analytical skills, data analysis and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
