Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice is engaged in the production of starters, air dampers and valves, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and innovative electric generators for hybrid vehicles, as well as the regeneration of alternators, starters, dual mass flywheels and compressors for car air-conditioning. Valeo Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice has its own modern research and development center which provides innovative solutions for car manufacturing.
Currently for our entity Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzicewe recruit CAE Simulation Engineer.
YOUR CHALLENGES?
Perform mechanical simulations (FEA): Conduct static, dynamic, and thermo-mechanical analyses for e-Drive components (e-Motor, Inverter, Reducer).
Conduct durability & fatigue assessment: Evaluate structural integrity using Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) methodologies to ensure product lifetime targets.
Drive Design Optimization: Propose design improvements (topology optimization, weight reduction, material selection) to meet strength requirements.
Correlation & Validation: Collaborate with the testing department to correlate simulation models with physical test results and refine calculation methods.
Support Project Teams: Provide clear technical reports and actionable feedback to design and project teams during the development phase.
Methodology Development: Improve simulation workflows, develop new calculation procedures, and ensure best practices in structural analysis.
LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
Min. 5 years of experience in Structural Simulation and Strength Assessment.
Experience in the Automotive industry regarding e-Motor or Powertrain components is a strong asset.
Proficiency in ANSYS simulation environment (Ansys Mechanical) is required.
Experience with Fatigue analysis modules (e.g., Ansys nCode DesignLife) is highly appreciated.
Solid knowledge of mechanical design rules and manufacturing processes (die casting, stamping, assembly).
Fluent English (B2/C1) is mandatory for daily work.
Teamwork spirit, precision, multitasking ability, and result-orientation.
