Summary:
Network Security SME with deep expertise in network firewalls majorly on Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
The candidate must demonstrate subject matter expertise in Network Security, with extensive hands-on experience in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Act as SME for Palo Alto Networks NGFW (PA-Series, VM-Series, Panorama).
• Manage Panorama for centralized firewall administration and logging.
• Serve as SME for Cisco ISE architecture and operations.
• Design secure network architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Provide Level 3/SME support for security incidents and escalations.
• Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation planning.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with SOC, Network, Cloud, and Endpoint teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Ensure compliance with security standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Palo Alto Networks:
• Design, deploy, configure, and manage security policies, NAT, and routing.
• Implement and optimize App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, and Security Profiles.
• Configure and support GlobalProtect VPN (Remote Access & Site-to-Site).
• Perform firewall migrations, upgrades, rule optimization, and policy audits.
• Troubleshoot advanced network and security issues (L3–L7).
• Integrate firewalls with SIEM, SOC, and threat intelligence platforms.
Cisco ISE:
• Design and implement Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• Configure 802.1X, MAB, RADIUS, TACACS+, and guest access policies.
• Implement BYOD, posture assessment, and profiling services.
• Integrate Cisco ISE with Active Directory, PKI, MDM, and third-party systems.
• Manage TrustSec (SGT) and policy-based access control.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) issues.
• Perform ISE upgrades, patching, backups, and performance tuning.
Certifications:
• PCNSE / PCNSA
• Cisco CCNP Security / CCIE Security
• ITIL
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Network Security Implementation.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
