Role Purpose

The Senior Modern Trade Accounts Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth and execution excellence across assigned modern trade accounts and territories. The role plays a critical part in delivering business objectives by strengthening customer partnerships, maximizing in-store execution and ensuring superior availability and visibility of company products.

This position requires strong commercial acumen, ability to derive insights/actionable from data, customer relationship management skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders to achieve sustainable growth across assigned accounts.

Key Accountabilities

- Deliver sales targets across assigned accounts and geographic territories.
- Drive growth and maintain market share across key product categories within organized retail chains.
- Manage customer service and sales operations to ensure achievement of agreed objectives and performance targets.
- Ensure high standards of product availability, visibility, merchandising and overall shelf execution across all assigned stores.
- Monitor and improve store execution metrics, including store compliance and execution quality measures.
- Ensure effective implementation of point-of-sale materials, promotional activities, and in-store activation plans.
- Leverage category insights to influence in-store execution and drive sales performance.
- Drive speed-to-shelf execution for new product launches and ensure timely replenishment and repeat orders.
- Ensure consistent and effective execution of consumer and trade promotions across assigned accounts.
- Provide direction and support to third-party field teams to ensure effective execution and achievement of business objectives.

- Strong sales and account management capabilities within modern trade or retail environments.
- Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships across multiple stakeholders.
