This role sits within the Global Wrike Team specifically under the Integration and Reporting Pillar in Chennai. As a Developer, you will be a key technical contributor within a specialized squad. You will work alongside an Integration Lead and a peer developer to maintain our core WrikeXPI solutions while building the next generation of automations and cloud-based data orchestration layers that power our global reporting.

What you'll be doing:

  • Technical Development: Maintain and optimize existing integration solutions (WrikeXPI) and automation workflows to ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Solution Engineering: Develop new integration solutions between Wrike and external systems based on designs reviewed with the Integration Lead.
  • Data Orchestration & ETL: Build and manage automated data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) or equivalent tools to streamline data movement and transformation from Wrike to our reporting environments.
  • Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives) to ensure transparent progress and timely delivery.
  • SDLC Management: Adhere to the full Software Development Life Cycle, ensuring that all code is properly versioned, tested, and documented before deployment.
  • Prototyping: Build prototypes and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to test new integration capabilities and provide technical feedback on feasibility.
  • Collaborative Refinement: Participate in internal technical sessions to clarify requirements gathered by the Integration Lead and Implementation Leads, ensuring technical constraints are identified early.
  • Peer Collaboration: Work closely with other developers to conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and ensure consistency across the integration stack.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for integrations and data pipelines to facilitate team-wide understanding and support.

What you'll need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Development Experience: Mid-to-Senior level experience in Full Stack development. You must be well-versed in either the LAMP stack or Azure/Microsoft stack.
  • Methodology: Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working within Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Cloud Data Skills: Practical or good knowledge of Azure Data Factory (preferred) or an equivalent ETL/orchestration platform (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, or Talend).
  • Preferred Tech Stack: Hands-on experience or the confidence to quickly master NodeJS, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Kibana, and OpenAPI.
  • Professional Background: Experience working within a software house or consulting environment is highly preferred, demonstrating an ability to adapt to different technical challenges and client needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills; you should enjoy deconstructing complex logic and finding efficient technical solutions.
  • Team Synergy: A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a "lead-developer" structure where internal communication and technical review are central to the workflow.

Who you are:

You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views. We are open-minded: to new ideas, new partnerships, new ways of working.

You're optimistic: We believe in the power of creativity, technology and talent to create brighter futures or our people, our clients and our communities. We approach all that we do with conviction: to try the new and to seek the unexpected.

You're extraordinary: we are stronger together: through collaboration we achieve the amazing. We are creative leaders and pioneers of our industry; we provide extraordinary every day.
