I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), experienced with Datadog, GCP, and OCI, based in Colombia. You'll be central to implementing Datadog insights to optimize usage and costs through FinOps principles, collaborating with various teams to identify spending patterns and assist in adopting best practices for cost reduction.
Responsibilities:
Set up Datadog insights to optimize usage and costs through FinOps principles.
Collaborate with teams to identify current Datadog spending patterns.
Create dashboards and provide recommendations based on FinOps opportunities.
Generate reports to assist with forecasting for upcoming contract renewals.
Assist teams in adopting SRE-defined best practices that contribute to cost reduction.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Datadog-related issues.
Document workflows, processes, and architectures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience.
Strong expertise in Datadog, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in tagging and labeling for effective tracking and reporting.
Knowledge of FinOps principles and their application in cost optimization.
Advanced English.
Nice to have:
Experience working with international clients.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Certifications in Datadog, GCP, or OCI.
Experience with SRE best practices and methodologies.
