Collaborate with the best
As Engineering Senior Specialist - Customer Application Engineering, with Reciprocating Compressor Application, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the preparation and management of technical proposal relevant to Reciprocating Compressor applications with a critical approach to maximize value proposition for Customer.
  • Leading the definition of the technical strategy of the project thus influencing Customer towards Baker Hughes solutions.
  • Taking care of the estimation/accuracy of the budget associated with the proposed solution.
  • Preparing, within the required timeline, the most compelling technical proposal at first submission.
  • Applying product and quality policies, addressing, and mitigating any residual risk as per Baker Hughes procedures.
  • Leading the technical negotiation, coordinating with supporting functions and attending to meeting/presentation with Customer.
  • Handing over the technical contract to execution team in case of award in the smoothest way achievable.

To be successful in this role, you will

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Have experience in Engineering, Application Engineering, Product management, Customer Service, or equivalent technical role for at least 5 years.
  • Be fluent in English (spoken and written) with good communication skills.
  • Have a willingness to work on stretched deadlines with flexible time management.
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously with solid time management.
  • Be available to travel at short notice.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Capability to work in team and ability to take decisions independently.
  • Be very open to work in multicultural teams and be open-minded.
